  Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:

Animal medicine has made great strides in recent years and pets are now enjoying much longer and trouble-free lives with the aid of qualified and conscientious health care professionals. Our hospital has all of the tools necessary to meet your pets' complete health care needs.

  • Advanced Digital Radiology Services - Our on-site, digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs quickly to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.
  • Theraputic Laser Services - This cutting edge technology has many applications. Among other things, it promotes healing, eases pain, and increases joint mobility.  Click here for more information about laser therapy for your pet.
  • Electrocardiography Services - We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
  • Ultrasound Imaging - This service allows the veterinarian to get an inside view of soft tissues and body cavities, without using invasive techniques.
  • Laboratory Services - Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, parasite testing, and more. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
  • Pharmacy - We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.
  • Nutritional and Behavioral Counseling - We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.  Surgical/Anesthesia Services:

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite is equipped for the performance of a wide variety of procedures. In addition to performing pre-operative blood screening, other screening tests may be recommended in order to determine whether the patient is a good candidate for anesthesia. The patient’s vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, oxygen saturation) are monitored during anesthesia with the most modern machinery. We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Fluid therapy is administered to aid in flushing the patient's system of residual anesthetic and to keep the patient hydrated.  All patients recover in a supervised environment, where the patient is kept safe and comfortable. We then design a pain management plan to fit the patient's post-operative needs.

Dental Care:

Our dental services include ultrasonic teeth scaling to remove tarter and plaque, polishing, dental X-ray, tooth extractions and oral surgery.  Click here for detailed information on and pictures of what is involved in a professional dental cleaning.  Ask us about veterinary-approved foods, treats and special sealants that are proven to slow the progression of tarter build-up.

  • Scaling and Polishing - Veterinarians use similar instruments as human dentists to remove plaque and calculus from your pet’s teeth. To smooth out any scratches in the tooth enamel, polishing with a special paste is also recommended.
  • Fluoride and Sealants - The application of an anti-plaque substance, such as a fluoride treatment and a barrier sealant can help strengthen and desensitize teeth as well as decrease future plaque.
  • Post cleaning examination and diagnostics - We examine individual teeth for mobility, fractures, malocclusion, and periodontal disease.

Supervised Boarding/Hospitalization:

We offer affordable, comfortable, climate-controlled pet boarding as a service to our clients. Our on-site kennel supervisor, Emily, gives each pet individual attention and ensures that all of their needs are being met. Our facility has accommodations for felines in our cat condos, and for canines in our dog condos on the opposite side of the clinic. We supply food and water bowls, comfortable bed pads or fresh towels to all of the pet's in our care. You are welcome to bring any of your pet’s personal items from home, including toys, blankets, medications and special foods. We offer Science Diet brand foods at no additional charge to pets if no other food is provided. Our staff is on hand to tend to any medical needs that a patient may have, from  medication administration to doctor examination/monitoring. For the safety of all pets in our care we require that all vaccinations are current and that all pets are free of internal and external parasites. Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available. Click here for more information on boarding.

Microchip Placement:

A tiny microchip that contains a one-of-a-kind identification number can be injected under the skin through a syringe, just like a vaccine. It is a safe and effective way to distinguish your pet from others and to allow your pet to be tracked back to you.  Click here for more information about the microchipping system that we utilize.
