The List of Ingredients

Is that bag of food really cheaper?

Lower cost pet foods often mean lower quality and lower digestibility.

  • Less vitamins for optimum health
  • Less fatty acids for hair coat (dull coat, shedding, flakes)
  • More stools due to additives & fillers that can't be digested.
  • And, your pet must eat more to maintain body condition due to the food's lower digestibility.

Eating more food means more frequent trips to the store in order to buy more cheap food.

This cycle tends to be overlooked by many pet owners.

So, is that generic food really cheaper when considering the extra trips to the store to buy a greater quantity of food of lower quality? The long term health of your pet may suffer.
